Discover the history and grandeur of Persepolis, a magnificent capital of the Persian Empire from 520 BC until it was destroyed by Alexander the Great in 330 B.C. Shown in conjunction with the special exhibit “Picturing the Past: Imaging and Imagining the Ancient Near East.”
Each Sunday afternoon, enjoy the best in documentary films on the ancient Middle East. Unless otherwise noted, showings begin at 2:00 PM in Breasted Hall, run approximately 30 – 50 minutes, and are free.
