Time: 8:00 P.M.

The Northwestern University College Republicans, along with the Young America’s Foundation are excited to host the former U.S. Senator from Pennsylvania, Rick Santorum as their fall speaker. The Senator will speak about his take on National Security issues at Northwestern’s Evanston Campus on Wednesday, Nov. 19. The event is free and open to the public at 8:00PM in Fisk Hall (1845 Sheridan Rd.), Rm. 217.
The lifelong Pennsylvanian served four years in the House of Representatives and twelve years in the United States Senate, where he did substantial work on the Armed Services and other Committees, before his 2012 bid for the Republican Party’s Nomination for President. The Senator’s committee work makes him very well qualified to speak on matters of national security. NUCR is thrilled to be welcoming such a prominent speaker on what remains one of the most important topics of our day! We hope you will join us for what will undoubtedly be a fascinating talk on United States National Security, right here at Northwestern!
We are also happy to continue our tradition of presenting the Northwestern University community with diverse and varying opinions which may otherwise be absent from campus dialogue. We anticipate Sen. Santorum’s discussion of national security to do just that. It is impossible to effectively understand an issue without considering the merit of all arguments. For this reason, regardless of your opinions or position on national security issues, we encourage you to attend and respectfully listen to Senator Santorum’s thoughts!
