Monday, May 23, 2016 from 6:00 PM to 7:15 PM
Less than a year after leaving his post as US Attorney General, Eric Holder joins the IOP for a discussion of his experience at the Justice Department, politics, civil rights, more. A veteran of the Obama administration, Holder served as the nation’s top attorney from 2008 to 2015 during which he took on issues like criminal justice, terrorism, immigration, and same-sex marriage. Given his incredible breadth of experience in politics and law, Holder will provide his insights on current issues and the direction of the country.
This event will be moderated by UChicago Law Professor David Strauss.
