Cuba: Opportunities and Challenges

On October 14, 2016, the Obama administration announced its decision to relax its trade restrictions on Cuba, making it easier for U.S. companies to import and export.  Obama also called for Congress to rescind the 50-year-old economic embargo; however, the question remains as to President’s position on the topic.  The 2017 annual Business and Commercial Law Symposium will focus on exploring the legal implications of the regulatory changes challenges.
