During the Christian Holy Week, Christians all over the world will gather to worship Jesus of Nazareth, a figure they understand as a crucified and resurrected Messiah. However, the concept of the Messiah is shared among each of the three major monotheistic faiths (Judaism, Christianity, and Islam), and each religion differs vastly in how it understands the role and identity of the Messiah. Join us for an interfaith panel discussion on the Messiah–who the Messiah is (or isn’t) in each religion and why the notion of the Messiah means so much to a large portion of the world’s population.
