Please join ADL and the Chicago Loop Synagogue for a fascinating conversation with Dr. Jeremy W. Francis, Supervisory Special Agent-FBI Chicago for a case study on the capture of David Headley, a Chicago-based international terrorist operative who conducted operational surveillance leading to the 2008 terrorist attacks in Mumbai, India. The Mumbai attacks resulted in the deaths of 166 innocent civilians, including six Americans. Thanks to the work of the FBI and a team of federal, state, international, and local partners, the perpetrators of this heinous attack were brought to justice.
Jeremy is a Supervisory Special Agent with the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI). He served the FBI since 2005. His experience grew in the Criminal Enterprise, Foreign Counterintelligence, and Counterterrorism programs. He led and worked domestic and international investigations, traveling to Algeria, England, Germany, India, Mexico, and throughout the United States. From 2015 until 2018, he led all Domestic Terrorism operations throughout northern Illinois.
In 2018, Jeremy promoted to lead Chicago’s esteemed Organize Crime operations. He remains an adjunct professor of the FBI National Academy and serves as the Chairman of the Law Enforcement Advisory Committee with the ADL in Chicago.
