About the Instructors

Ben Guidos Photo

Ben is a graduate from the University of Michigan where he majored in English. He has been in the world of advertising for three years; two of which he spent at Digitas working with larger clients like Whirlpool. He is currently a Search Marketing Manager at Mindshare working on the Kimberly-Clark account. Ben has found a home within advertising due to the constant collaboration of new ideas, both with internal and client teams.

When Ben is not busy at work, he enjoys traveling around the world and making the most of his time here in Chicago. You might find him at a local restaurant taking in some new cuisine, but do not be surprised to spot him in the bleachers of Wrigley Field sporting head-to-toe Cubs gear!

As a Client Partner at Twitter, Alex partners with the biggest brands of the world to accomplish their advertising goals. Alex shares his Twitter expertise with agencies and brands to improve marketing strategies with tangible business results.

Alex joined Twitter as an Account Coordinator where he developed a passion for storytelling with data. Alex specialized in Retail for more than three years and worked closest with Best Buy and adidas. He worked with top CPG brands for the last half of 2017. In 2018, Alex is a part of a new team at Twitter.

At the University of Wisconsin in Madison, Alex studied reporting, strategic communication and political science. As their first social media intern, Alex solidified the university’s reputation as one of the most social media savvy schools in the country. In addition to his coursework and involvement, Alex managed institutional social media accounts during most of his waking hours for his last year and a half on campus.

Zareena is a growth manager at mRelief, with 4 years of marketing experience and a bachelor’s degree from University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign, under her belt. She’s worked in with influencers, media companies, and several large Fortune Global 500 clients, before pivoting to the nonprofit sector. Zareena’s activism started long before entering the nonprofit world, frequenting all forms of social media to #resist. Now, she navigates digital, social & traditional media spaces to foster mRelief’s growth and reach people at their level of access.
