Is Democracy Doomed?: A Friendly Debate Night

Wed, January 10, 2018 6:30 PM – 8:00 PM

Join Harris Policy Analysis and Debate as we start the new year by asking a topical question – is U.S. democracy doomed? This event will feature several debates on questions relevant to the current state of U.S. democracy, such as: “Should Donald Trump be impeached?”, and “Is the Electoral College still necessary?” The event will include two introductory debates between students from Harris followed by a debate between Dr. Dan Black and Dr. Ethan Bueno de Mesquita on the question, “Should the U.S. go to war with North Korea?”

Dinner will be provided. Event will be held in the Harris Student Lounge.
