Humans and The Rest of The World
Presented by Özge Samanci, a media artist and graphic novelist, is an associate professor in Northwestern University’s School of Communication.

This talk approaches environmental issues from a media arts and graphic novel perspective. In recent decades, environmental damage has been articulated in various ways that turned into trends and cliches. Now we have a resistance to hearing the environmental issues. We developed an immunity against it. This talk questions if there can be ways of breaking such immunity with the help of media arts.
