Please join us as we continue our Data Analytics + Business Intelligence (BI) journey at FinTank.
Data Analytics + Business Intelligence, covers the process of collecting, analyzing, and telling stories with data to help businesses see farther into the past so they can make better decisions in the future.
Business intelligence solutions and applications cover a wide variety of business sectors. We are only limited by our own creativity for application to a solution that is meaningful. In this session, we are going to explore how public data was used for political gain in Chicago politics. You may ask yourself: How does this tie to finance? Just ask the winners in the election and what types of financial gain did they accumulate, plus other city influences and impact.
The purpose of our monthly BI meet-up is to leverage the foundational spirit of FinTank and foster networking, collaboration, and ideation among BI developers and business professionals that are seeking knowledge about cutting edge BI applications for various organizations. We bring the perspective of sharing the BI knowledge and delivery experiences along with an understanding of the key technology elements needed for a robust BI solution deployment.
Our format for this session will be: 6pm to 8pm
6pm to 6:30pm – Networking
6:30pm to 7:30pm – Case Study and Panel Discussion
7:30pm to 8pm – Follow on Networking
We will have Jean-Paul Thomas with expertise in Tableau dash boards and analytics design. Jean-Paul brings over 20 years of business analytics, IT technology solutions, and what we now call Data Scientist expertise to his clients.
Eric Rodriguez, a Silicon Valley tech professional will be presenting the business case study and participate in the panel discussion. Eric’s background is in new product commercialization: Semiconductor CapEx equipment, Solar, Industrial Automation, and IT Technology solutions for business operations.
FinTank is happy to host Jean-Paul Thomas and Eric Rodriguez, as they connect business intelligence with finance. As FinTank focuses on startups in the financial sector, we hope these case studies will educate and inspire our companies to take the next step towards business success. As members meet on a monthly basis, they will build upon the case studies and find new ways to leverage BI and increase their company’s ROI. Please join Jean-Paul Thomas and Eric Rodriguez every month, and learn how to leverage your company’s data to make smart decisions.
