Adler After Dark: Solar Eclipse (of the Heart)

The summer ’17 American eclipse is not to be missed, so make sure to get your gear early!

Try your hand at making a pinhole projector and get #EquippedToEclipse with a pair of eclipse-viewing glasses for safe solar observing. Then attend a special talk on the science of cosmic phenomenon or one of our breath-taking sky shows.

Top off the evening with a visit to our newest exhibit, Chasing Eclipses, enjoy specialty cocktails, join your friends on the dance floor with music that will make your inner 80s kid happy (don’t worry, we’ll play the titular hit by Bonnie Tyler), and much more—80s wear highly encouraged!

We’re also excited to announce “Eclipse,” a  multimedia performance that features NASA imagery, narration, and music performed by Axiom Brass. The show was developed through CIERA’s Cosmos in Concert initiative, which uses music and art as tools to make science more accessible to the public. Don’t miss this special performance, available only at Adler After Dark. [“Eclipse” is included in your ticket. Seats in the theater are first come, first served.]

Enjoy a summer night out and get excited about this once-in-a-lifetime event!
