Next year, Americans will head to the polls to decide one of the most contentious elections in recent history. On the Democratic side, one of the broadest and largest fields of candidates ever vie for the chance to go head-to-head with President Trump in the general election. At this important crossroads one year out, we’ve got questions that require an intimate understanding of the American electorate to answer. Will Democrats choose a radical left-wing strategy over a centrist one? How will the Republican base respond to an active impeachment inquiry? And what’s going on in Iowa, New Hampshire, Nevada, and South Carolina?
