Understanding the changing media environment and its impact on our society and political climate is complex, requiring analysis from multiple viewpoints. This conference brings together scholars across fields to examine critical questions of how the media shapes our lives today.
Conference organizers invite researchers in political economy, industrial organization, economic theory, and other related fields to submit papers to be considered for presentation at the conference. We welcome submissions on all aspects of media economics, as well as the economics of communication more broadly. You are welcome to submit either an abstract or a paper, but priority will be given to paper submissions.
Please submit your papers for consideration no later than Friday, December 15, 2017 by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org and attaching your paper. Funds to assist with travel and lodging expenses are available for the authors of accepted papers. Presenters are expected to attend the full conference. If you cannot attend the full conference, please note your availability in your submission.
Registration will open closer to the conference date. Please check back on March 26, 2017.
