$2 a Day: Living on Almost Nothing in America

Wheaton College

Thursday, October 25, 2018, 7 – 9pm

The Center for Urban Engagement presents a lecture by Kathy Edin, sociologist and professor at Princeton University, about this country’s low-wage labor market that increasingly fails to deliver a living wage, and a growing but hidden landscape of survival strategies among America’s extreme poor.

This lecture is free and open to the public and will take place on Thursday, October 25, at 7 p.m. in Barrows Auditorium, located on the first floor of the Billy Graham Center. Contact the Center for Urban Engagement at 630.752.5730 for additional information.
